Racing Pulley Info
I have received numerous inquiries about a low
profile pulley to use on an oval track and for some drag (take up) lure coursing. The low
to the ground design is desired by many people in order to reduce the
opportunity for a dog to collide with a pulley and therefore be injured in the
process. This pulley design cannot be used with a continuous loop system
because the lure will flip the string off the pulley when rounding the corner.
This is not a problem with a drag lure setup.
The pulley
pictured is the final design for this pulley. If you purchased the black
steel prototype, that was intended for testing the
operation of the pulley in the field, you can purchase this pulley and apply the
$20.00 you paid for the prototype pulley...in other words, you can replace those
pulleys with the new design for $18.00. This offer is good for 12
months from the date that you purchase any Racing Pulley.
